Weather Update...

'Storm Eunice' passed yesterday, leaving a normal English winter day today, with more forecast going forward.
At Hamerton Zoo Park, although it was a miserable day for our staff, there was no impact with no damage.
We record weather data live, and experienced the highest winds between 11.30am and 3.30pm. Several gusts of 70mph were recorded with the highest being 75.8mph.
After a superb start to the year with lovely open weather in January, the school half-term was very mixed. Unfortunately for us our Education Authority set the holiday one week earlier than the rest of the country, much earlier than usual - and, as it turned out coinciding with the down-turn in the weather.
We now have a very busy few weeks ahead, to progress the major projects in-hand for the start of the season.
