News Update...

A very busy summer season is coming to a close with some lovely autumn weather set to last until the half-term.
We are making the most of this and are busy with several projects.
The new Bear Hide is now open, giving some great secluded views into the far end of the enclosure, along with the adjoining viewing platform which gives a whole different perspective of the far side of the Park, including the bears and tigers; and the surrounding countryside.
It will be another month or so before our bears go into hibernation so it is an excellent time to see them from the new viewpoint.
The new Dingo enclosure next door is finished too, and the Dingoes will move into it after the October half-term.
We have been able to slowly move the barriers back in stages allowing several visitors to take some lovely pictures of the Brown Hyaenas. The second enclosure system for hyaenas is well under way and can be seen north of the bears. We are working to have it finished soon, before the arrival of our second male from South Africa, later in the autumn.
