Donkeys on the move
18/07/2012
Our Poitou and American Mammoth jennies, along with two new foals born earlier in 2012, have been moved to grass fields we rent in Hamerton village, just half a mile south of the Park. This rotation gives our paddocks at the Park time to rest and recover, which is particularly important after such a wet spell. If you missed the Donkeys during your visit to the Park, they are currently in fields by the brook in Hamerton village (turn left out of the Zoo entrance)and are easily seen from the road. Our female Ushant sheep with their lambs are there too.
