'Donkey Day' 2016

Our first 'Donkey Day' was held yesterday - and proved very popular with our visitors, some coming from as far away as Norway to see the Park and our animals. Apart from the stud jacks all of the donkeys were brought in from the fields to spend the day in the barns so they were visible up-close-and-personal. 25 animals of 3 different breeds were on show - Mediterranean Miniatures + American Mammoths + Baudet-du-Poitou, probably for the first time in the UK. Staff were on hand all day to answer questions, and now the busy summer holidays are over the day was very relaxed, especially thanks to the nice weather. We hope to repeat the day on an annual basis.
