Our current policy continues, so one adult carer will be admitted free of charge, for each disabled visitor.
This will, from May, only be with a valid Access Card displaying a +1 symbol.
Hamerton Zoo Park will only be able to accept the Access Card issued by Nimbus Disability as proof of eligibility for a carer ticket.
From 1st May, we will no longer be able to accept original DLA or PIP award letters, photocopies, scans, professional carer ID cards or any other documents, at the gate.
This change has been made to improve guest convenience, protect visitor privacy, and standardise our admissions process in line with best practice across UK attractions.
