Work Experience

Here at Hamerton Zoo Park we run a Work Experience program aimed at students undertaking a college course or university degree in an animal related subject e.g. Zoology. We hope that this work based program will provide students with an insight into the running and management of a busy zoo.

Zoo keeping is a very physical job, and you are expected to work in all weather conditions. It is also a relatively low paid job, but can be extremely rewarding for the right person.
